New Zealand Ultimate is very excited to announce a series of regional youth Ultimate development days. The purpose of these youth events is to provide new players with the basic skills needed to play the sport, and to extend the skills of those young people who are already keen Ultimate players.  These events also mark the start of New Zealand Ultimate’s programme to send a boys and girls team to the World Junior Ultimate Championships in August 2012.

The two NZ U19 teams faced offagainst the Australia U19 teams this weekend in an exciting 3 game test series. The players have all trained hard over the past 6 months and the level of play was fantastic.

Kahu, the NZ U19 girls and Katipo, the NZ U19 boys, both put on an impressive show and took the series in a clean sweep 3-0.

Well done to all involved and you've done us proud!
